  I have worked with Chris over the years in environments that have little structure, limited experience in change, and ill-defined governance. Advancing transformative change in this type of setting requires skill, teamwork and fortitude - all of which I can commend Chris on. 

Chris is well known for his skill to design a project of work that will deliver results. Supported by the Project Management course that he co-authored, Chris brings competency and energy to any group needing to drive change forward.

Q: Did you have any experience of coaching before this process?

A: I didn’t have any previous coaching experience before.


  • Q: What did you want to get out of the coaching sessions?

A: To help bring clarity towards the end goal and help in building strategy around the team.


  • Q: How did you feel the coaching went for you? What did you learn ?

A: I enjoyed the sessions and I liked that the sessions were about the right questions and tools being used to help myself unpack the appropriate answers and action plans. Loved the beliefs table and will be using that again and the work breakdown structure was really helpful in helping me to bring clarity.


  • Q: What did you think of the coaching you received?

A: Coaching helped me move from A to B to C these sessions gave me focus.


  • Q: How has it helped you in your goals and achievements?

A: By the end of these sessions I had got a strategy, had got better clarity and was able to start moving forward with the steps that I have created through these coaching sessions. These sessions also helped me to break down my big goal into smaller bitesize bites.


  • Q: Any other thoughts and observations you wish to add

A: It was great to feel that the environment was relaxed and a safe space to explore goals, strategise and get to a place where I felt more confident to see these being carried out and starting to become a reality.

• Did you have any experience of coaching before this process? 

No I didn’t have any kind of coaching experience. Having coaching session with you it was very beneficial in my role as a leader but also in my ministry. And for that I thank you. 

    

• What did you want to get out of the coaching sessions? 

To be honest I didn’t know what to expect and I wasn’t sure how this is going to be. From the first session we had, I knew that I wanted to find a clear way of how am I going to 

   

succeed for the season ahead of me. I needed someone to help me learn how to think and approach things differently. 

 

• How did you feel the coaching went for you? What did you learn? 

The coaching was very helpful. Having the right questions, it opened up my horizons to see the bigger picture. I have learned a lot of who I am and the potential I have. Somewhere down deep inside I knew I have it but it needed someone like you to help me bring it to the surface. 

 

• What did you think of the coaching you received? 

I think you are a brilliant coach. You have a way of bringing best in people. The way you managed to bring the questions along and go deeper into helping me finding the solution is what I needed. The level of your energy is beyond my understating. Your extensive knowledge and experience is remarkable. 

        

• How has it helped you in your goals and achievements? 

 

The results are very obvious. I know what I need to do. I know I can do it. You helped me develop a plan and go for it. 

• Any other thoughts and observations you wish to add?

2.  Limited previous experience of coaching which took place about 8 - 10 years ago.  

3. Help with working through a situation that was out of my comfort zone, no training for and for which I had no direct background experience to help tackle the challenges I was facing. 

4. I felt that the coaching went very well. Different tools were explained, linked together and then applied which have helped me respond constructively to the challenges. I found the 'process' very interesting - not just about the actual topic that I was working through - but the way to approach the situation and the various methods available to help deal with it and other similar situations I might find myself in, in the future. 

5. I found the coaching received to be very helpful and empowering.

A: My goal was to gain clarity towards the end goal and assist in building a strategy around the team as part of effective change management.

No, I didn’t have any kind of coaching experience. However, having coaching sessions focused on leadership development with you has been very beneficial in my role as a leader and in my ministry. For that, I thank you.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect, and I wasn’t sure how this was going to unfold. From the first session, I realized I wanted to find a clear approach to succeed in the season ahead of me. I needed someone to help me learn how to think differently and apply behavioural learning strategies.

The coaching was incredibly helpful. By asking the right questions, it opened my horizons to see the bigger picture. I learned a lot about who I am and the potential I possess. Deep down, I knew I had it, but it took your guidance to help me bring it to the surface.
